It had been many years since I had previously photographed at Peterstone Court so I was thrilled to be asked back for Laura and Harry's incredible wedding day there last March. I was particularly excited about this one as I had previously met them while photographing one of their friend's weddings. It's always the highest compliment when couples book me this way, having seen how I work, the images I deliver and (hopefully) heard good things about me.
There’s something truly special about a wedding where the couple’s love is so authentic and raw, it feels like it belongs to another time—before the influence of social media, trends, and the pressure of “perfect.” Laura and Harry’s wedding was exactly that: a celebration of love, joy, and connection that was entirely their own, grounded in who they are as individuals and as partners. As a wedding photographer, I’ve had the privilege of capturing many unique and beautiful celebrations, but there’s something about the weddings that are driven by genuine emotion and real connection that always stand out. From Harry’s smile as he saw Laura for the first time in her dress, to their emotional vows and wonderful speeches, it was clear that their connection went beyond the surface. Every glance, every touch, every word spoken felt like it was part of a much larger story—a story that wasn’t about impressing anyone, but simply about being together.

Peterstone Court in Brecon is understated yet beautiful, and full of character. Nestled at the foot of the Brecon Beacons, the venue is known for its stunning views, cozy atmosphere, and its ability to blend classic elegance with a sense of quiet intimacy. The stone walls, candlelit rooms, and expansive grounds offered the perfect backdrop for Laura and Harry’s day, creating a serene space where their love could shine without distraction.
