Rachel and Lewis booked me to photograph their wedding after meeting me at the Cardiff City Stadium Wedding Fayre a couple of years ago. At the time, their wedding felt like forever away, but as with all things, time just flies by and before we know it their wedding is on the horizon.
Southerndown beach is such a beautiful place and I was so excited to go there to photograph for the first time, even though the weather wasn't looking too great. Sure enough, it didn't disappoint. Lewis and Rachel arrived looking fantastic (as they always do!) and were just so at ease with each other, it was a dream.
The couple needed very little direction and were just so happy to be in each other's company, it really made my job a breeze. Pre wedding shoots, engagement shoots, couple portraits... whatever you want to call them, I love them! It is the perfect opportunity to get to know one another before the wedding, so that on the day, you are completely at ease in my company. It's as if we are already friends.
This couple are so easy going, I just know they are going to have the most fantastic wedding at their spectacular venue, Canada Lodge.
